Free Legal Information, Advice & Casework
The Centre provides free legal information, telephone advice and casework services for disadvantaged individuals and groups living or working on the Central Coast in the following areas:
- Civil Law (credit & debt; consumer issues)
- Family Law
- Domestic Violence
- Employment Law
- Discrimination
- Victims Compensation
- Housing problems
- Human rights questions
- Social security matters
Apart from our general legal service we also provide assistance to the Domestic Violence Court Support service.
Free Telephone Advice
Legal advice is primarily given during one of our telephone advice sessions, however face-to-face appointments with a solicitor is possible in limited circumstances (see below).

| Wednesday: | 10am - 12 Noon |
| Thursday: | 2pm - 4pm |
Face-to-Face Advice (by Appointment Only)
Face to face appointments are offered to clients in the following circumstances:
- The client has a disability and is unable to use the phone
- The matter is too complex to address over the telephone
- Simple documents need to be read and/or interpreted in order to provide the advice
- An interpreter is required (we will endeavour to arrange for an interpreter on your behalf)
What the Central Coast Legal Centre Does Not Provide
The Centre does not provide legal assistance or work in relation to:
- Immigration issues
- Business and Commercial Transactions
- Personal Injuries
- Drafting Wills or making applications for Probate
- Conveyancing
- Criminal
